Sometimes the hardest thing in the world is to simply be ourselves; to sit in centered stillness, void of our masks, labels, and other outer adornments of success. Yet it is this very willingness to be vulnerable; this willingness to seek radical acceptance from within, that enables deep connection with others and the possibility of true peace and lasting joy.
I’m curious…
How do you choose to stand in your own truth? How has shedding those outer labels, masks and adornments, enabled you to find more peace, love and joy in your own life? How has accepting yourself, enabled you to more readily accept others?
Being ourselves
So true, this world tests my ability to be true to my core. Being myself takes focus and courage to live the life I am meant to live.
At times it’s hard to stand in my own truth, to stop and reflect and stay true to my core values.
Life for me is love. Love is at my core and enables me to exist. I find joy and peace when I am able to act from love. Love makes me smile, makes me cry, makes me wake each morning. Love is my fuel that powers me to grow, teach and enjoy all that is before me.
It’s been my experience that accepting myself and taking time in stillness gives me the ability to accept others and have deeper connections. When I reflect and live from my core, life is richer for me and those I encounter.
Love=peace and joy
Once again, Thank you!
